Heli-Paragliding @ Atlin Music Festival

Heli-Paragliding in Atlin
Jamie has again offered to give pilots a ride up one of the local mountains so long as it is coordinated around his volunteering for the Atlin Music Festival. Helicopter can take 5 pilots (and wings). The time to meet will be set closer to the festival or call or visit Jamie at the hanger. A couple of tandem flights may be available. Please RSVP below as space is limited. We need six pilots to make this possible and to keep costs down.

Cell phones do NOT work in Atlin, but you can reach Jamie or myself via Airband.
Air-band 123.2 (uncontrolled frequency)

Details:
Cost is $75 for a single lift (based on 5 pilots). If there is demand, we can make a second run for the Sunday.

Atlin Music Festival – Details (July 06-08)
Recommend getting music festival tickets. It’s a great event. There is also hiking and other activities.

Requirements:
Intermediate P2 Level or Higher due to the remoteness of and adverse conditions may be faced with.
It is expected pilots will have ability to launch in variable conditions (forward, reverse).
Have basic first aid, food and water in event you land in an isolated area.
Have a Radio (Airband recommended, others can be used so long as it’s coordinated)
Paraglider packed as tightly as possible. No loose items.
There is XC Potential. Be prepared to talk to other pilots and retrieval vehicle(s).
